This festival is funded in part through gracious support from The Hormel Foundation. This activity is also funded by the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council through the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.

The Austin ArtWorks Festival is a major investment in the culture of Austin, MN. A collaboration of community leaders are working on transforming the Historic Downtown Power Plant into a unique destination. This two day event will be an opportunity for the public to envision a revitalized use of this building. We are featuring visual, performing, media, and literary artists with ties to the Austin community. Join us for a true celebration of the arts because art works!

The application deadline to participate in the 2013 ArtWorks Festival has been extended to Friday, May 24th.
